"This place is a hidden gem, and our stay was idyllic. The accommodation is fully equipped, and every detail is top-quality; everything is spotless and smells wonderful. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom, though small, was perfectly organized and meticulously designed with thoughtful amenities. What we loved: the projector for watching movies from bed, the romantic fairy lights, the throws provided to keep warm even outside in front of the fire, the fragrant wood, the board games, the cookies and croissants baked by Pete, the hares in the garden, the surrounding nature, and the peace we felt. I could say a thousand more things, but all I can say is that it was like living in a poem!"

"Peaceful and stunning getaway in nature. The hut was beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. The views from the hut and deck were picturesque evoking stillness and tranquility. The interior was tastefully decorated with a mix of rustic charm and modern touches. "What an amazing location. Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and initially did not know what to expect. Both Emma and Pete were incredible hosts. As soon as you walk into Peatlands any stress you have is gone in an instant, the views and privacy are amazing and the accommodation itself has all the utensils and home comforts you could desire. Pete’s baking skills are top class, I’ve never tasted a pastry like it in my life. We will definitely be returning in the near future!"

"The attention to detail in these delightful, compact country dwellings is faultless. A super location for a tour of the sites up north and its many golf courses. The bakery provides quality provisions and a thoughtful array of breakfast options. Beautifully maintained gardens provide a setting for an evening by the log fire with family/friends if you’ve travelled together. Thank you Emma and Pete we will be back!"

They’re equipped to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need — extremely comfortable with lots of thoughtful luxuries throughout. We were there with friends who stayed in a second hut, and the outdoor space and decking provided the perfect area for socialising. We’re already looking forward to our next visit."

"Staying at Peatlands was a real treat. The shepherd’s huts are beautifully designed, with a comfy king-size bed, a great little kitchen, and a private deck that looks out over the countryside. Everything feels really well thought-out and stylish, while still being cosy and down-to-earth. One of the best parts was the on-site bakery – Pete’s Bread – which offers amazing sourdough. It’s also in a brilliant location for exploring the Giant’s Causeway, Castlerock and the surrounding coast."

"Peatlands is the best place I’ve stayed in for a long time! Such welcoming hosts, really tranquil surroundings and beautiful cosy accommodation with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. My highlight was watching the 3 hares playing outside the hut in the morning. And, there’s an onsite bakery - cookies and bread delicious! I hope to stay again soon!"

Absolutely beautiful property and setting. So many lovely little touches that show the hosts have really thought about the experience they want guests to have. I’d definitely recommend adding the breakfast as it was fantastic! Will definitely return.

Our stay at Peatlands was amazing. The hut is absolutely perfect. The cookies, breakfast and sourdough bread were all outstanding, definitely a highlight along with the calm and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be recommending to our friends and family.

We had a great night in the Curlew hut overlooking a wonderful pond! We enjoyed a BBQ and wood fire in the evening. The hut also got beautiful morning sun which made our fresh breakfast bakes just perfect! Will visit again 😊

What an oasis! Exactly what I wished for - calm and cosy retreat. Replenishment for body and soul. Sounds of wind, rain, grass and trees. Love the wood and natural materials - the hut is a triumph. Chocolate cookies excellent too.

The hut was absolutely beautiful set in a peaceful and private setting. Emma and Pete were very welcoming and went over and above to ensure our stay was perfect. Pete's famous sourdough loaf was absolutely delicious delivered to the door of hut this morning. Will definitely be back!! 😀
